Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a diverse ethnic background. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian as well as Sri Lankan. The father of Jacqueline is Elroy Fernandez is from Sri Lanka. There are two brothers younger than her as well as an older sister. She was born and raised in Bahrain. She hosted the television show Lanka Business Report which focused on Sri Lankan Business. Padukone had the honor of being a daughter of badminton world champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew up in Bangalore and is a native of Copenhagen. As a teenager Padukone played in many championships for national badminton. However, she resigned from the sport when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone hails from Mangalore and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone is a village in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone is her father and a former badminton star who has international acclaim. Her mother is an agent for travel.
